Dr. Diego Ruiz is the CEO and founder of Options Rehab in Nutley, NJ, a highly regarded chiropractic practice specializing in non-surgical, holistic treatments. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, Dr. Ruiz is dedicated to helping his patients achieve optimal wellness and pain relief. He is a New Jersey board-certified chiropractic physician, having earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree in 2001 from Life University School of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA.

Dr. Ruiz also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nutrition from Life University School of Undergraduate Studies and has pursued additional graduate-level studies in Sports Health Science. He also has experience working with youth athletes and previously served as an assistant coach for the Caldwell wrestling middle school travel team.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Ruiz is passionate about fitness and personal health. He currently trains in CrossFit and practices Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) under Professor Jaimie Cruz, a Renzo Gracie Black Belt, and Kodokan Judo with 6th degree black belt Sensei Tony Camal. His love for sports and fitness fuels his commitment to teaching others how to live active, healthy lives.

Dr. Ruiz is also committed to giving back to his community. He is the founder of Autism Angels, a charity organization dedicated to raising funds for financially challenged families of children with autism. He is married to Rosalie Ruiz and is a proud father of two, Maximo and Angelina Ruiz.

Dr. Ruiz and staff David and Sonia was Amazing!!!! The office is clean and decorated for Halloween. I had the Softwave treatment. I came in the office with pain 5 out of 10. The treatment was a little painful only because of the sciatica nerve infection but as Dr. Ruin lowered the shock waves, the healing process made the treatment bearable. Dr. Ruiz was able to increase the level of shock waves, which made the treatment effective. The Softwave Treatment works! I walk out of the office with pain 3 out of 10. I'm looking forward to feeling better in the next two days. I will be following up wirh recommended Softwave Treatments.

I’m a Disabled Veteran with multiple areas of injuries. I have an overflow of pain medication and muscle relaxers in which I tru to avoid taking. I found this Dr. on Facebook and I started with my worse area of pain. Which is my neck. Let me just say with just the first visit, my neck pain and mobility has subsided tremendously. Before the treatment I couldn’t turn my neck to the left side without pain. I am able to turn my neck without the jolt of pain. This honestly, has helped me.
