PAIN RELIEF AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT
How Cold Laser Therapy Is Helping Patients Every Day At Options Rehab
What Is Cold Laser Therapy?
Cold Laser Therapy, also known as Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), is a treatment we use at Options Rehab to help speed up the healing of injuries we treat. Low-level laser works by emitting super-pulsed light that penetrates deep into soft tissue to stimulate healing. Studies have shown that laser therapy is very helpful in eliminating pain & swelling, reducing muscle spasms, and increasing the functionality of soft tissue.
Some of the most popular conditions cold laser therapy is used for:
- Shoulders (impingement syndrome, bursitis, frozen shoulder)
- Elbows (tennis elbow – lateral epicondylitis, golfer’s elbow – medial epicondylitis)
- Wrists (carpal tunnel syndrome)
- Knees (meniscus and ligaments )
- Feet and Ankles (plantar fascitis, sprained ankle)
Post-surgical conditions too…
Patients benefit from non-invasive and safe treatments without side effects.
Low-level laser therapy sessions usually take about 5 minutes each depending on the conditions being treated and patients usually see results after 2 to 5 treatments.
How Much Does Laser Therapy Cost?
